“Either you are with us or against us. So who are you with?” U.S.A President Bill Clinton
A question that fell upon the ears of then president of Pakistan Mr. Musharraf through a telephonic call laid the basis of the war on terrorism. But now after a continuous span of 17 years in history written with the blood of million lives in the region including both the civilians and the military. Now the aspects have changed drastically.
The NATO along with all its allies has suffered with a lot of losses gaining nothing but sustaining the prolonged political and social instability in Afghanistan and burning its surroundings with the wild flame of war.
Somehow the last defense minister of Pakistan Mr. Khawaja Asif recognized the decisions as the biggest blunder of national security policy makers of Pakistan in the very start of the 21st century post-cold war era. Now the tables have turned and the front line state of Pakistan have decided to enforce negotiations and dialogue.
Now the trump’s lobby pretty much convinced to the Pakistani perspective of examining the war of Afghanistan. In my opinion with the analysis on the above mentioned news the American think tank have now foolishly removed the curtains of the theatre and now their intentions behind this dramatic war of just having the control of central and south Asian skies overwhelming the up-growing threat of china and Russia.
So the question rises in my mind with the stated negative responses from the Afghani Talibans, what will be the future of these so called peaceful negotiations at their drawn.
