Students develop a bacteria that turns plastic into water!

Bacteria

From shopping bags to eating plates, it’s All plastic!

One of the biggest concerns of today is the alarming amount of plastic in the oceans, it is the evilest of evils that exist today!

There are chances of having more plastic than fish in the oceans by 2050 and nothing is more repugnant!

There have been brains working on this Plastic-Situation but Jeanny Yao and Miranda Wang are the stars of the show, as they’ve developed a bacterium capable of transforming plastic into CO2 and water. The technology is used in two ways:

· To clean the beaches.

· To produce raw materials for clothing.

The project runs in just 24 hours, to move from plastic to water, really promising.

I hope this extraordinarily-useful invention would blow a little steam off our planet, and free our oceans of Plastic!

I am really thrilled to share this with you while sipping water right through my cute pink Plastic bottle!
