June 21, 1953 marks the birthday of Benazir Bhutto, the first women prime minister of any state. She became the PM twice from 1988-1990 & 1993-1996.
Her loss is a pain but it’s also a reminder of her compassionate personality. She was a brave & dauntless leader. With her charisma, intelligence & passion she was and is an ideal woman. Tested through fire, she never abandoned her believes in the freedom of humanity from tyranny.
She is regarded as an icon of women’s rights due to her political success in a male dominated society. She set the highest benchmarks for political integrity. One may disagree with her political vision but does acknowledge her contributions for Pakistan & this world.
From getting the best education, being a great leader to a conscientious mother she’s done it ALL!
She fought for democracy until death & worked selflessly for the Federation of Pakistan. At the end, she was martyred (on Dec 27,2019) for her courage & pursuit of freedom for humanity.
Mere words are insufficient to pay tribute. We don’t have many parallels in history to her life!
