Ditch all the skyscrapers, let’s build Forest city like China instead!

Meanwhile you and I are debating about the drastic changes in the climate and how Global warming has started toll on the environment, China is out there, all set and working on a project that actually will do something to unburden the climatic stress!

The world’s first ever “Forest City” is being built in Liuzhou, Guangxi Province. This magnificent piece of art is being designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti, a renowned team.

It would have 1 Million plants of more than 100 species and 40,000 trees that would filter 10,000 tons of carbon dioxide and 57 tons of pollutants, and produce approximately 900 tons of oxygen annually. This will not only be an eye-pleaser but will also decrease the Air temperature, and will bring biodiversity about! We cannot even fathom how much this city would be self-sufficient, producing it’s own solar and geothermal energy.

Forest city?! Who knew this could be a “thing”, right?!
