Ahmed Nawaz has become the apple of eyes and has gained respect from all over the world for his Anti-radicalization youth campaign.
He is awarded with the Diana Award- which was founded as a legacy to Diana, and her belief that young people have the power to change the world.
This prestigious award is given out to “ordinary” youngsters that have tried to do something “out of the ordinary”.
He survived the 2014, school terror attack but did get some serious injuries and was taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth hospital and ever since then he goes on tours and shares his experiences with kids to prevent radicalisation as much as he can.
“I realised there was a problem with radicalisation in the UK. Children were going towards terrorist groups in Syria and Iraq. I thought if I could help stop these children that would be the best revenge, taking the revenge from the terrorists.”- he said
The cherry on top is that He is the first Pakistani ever to receive this award and Here’s to many more!!
