Mark Zuckerberg announced to hire more than 3,000 new extra workers According to recent released of Q-1 earnings of 2017, the giant social media network Facebook revealed that the company is going to hit 2 billion of users globally. From the report the company says that it covers almost 1.94 billion users world-wide out of which 1.3 billion users use it on daily basis.
“We had a good start to 2017,” said CEO Mark Zuckerberg in a statement.
“We’re continuing to build tools to support a strong global community.”
The On the backside of the scene the company was facing pressures in the recent weeks as it was reported to due to handle self-harming, child abuse and other types of criminal contents on it, with long period view time. So, from tech reports, the founder of the giant social site Mark Zuckerberg announced to hire more than 3,000 new extra workers to handle and moderate such type of contents on the site. The population of our global village is almost 7.3 billion out of that 1.94 people are using Facebook on monthly base, so nearly one-quarter or the world population is connected with on Facebook. And if you look on the bar graph than you will observe that most of the new users are from other parts of the globe, outside of Europe and North America.
Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of the site said that due to the vastness of the users they were able to expand the site more, as in health care, sports and politics etc, He further revealed:
“With that foundation our next focus will be building community,” he said. “There’s a lot to do there.”
